About this support
Life skills supports focus on building capacity rather than doing things for the participant. Together we set clear goals and practise skills in real settings, at home and in the community, until the participant feels confident.
Progress is reviewed regularly and shared with the participant and, with their consent, their family and support coordinator to support plan reviews.
What this support can include
- Cooking, meal planning and nutrition
- Budgeting and managing money
- Using public transport safely
- Household management and personal organisation
