About this support
High intensity supports are delivered by support workers who are trained and assessed as competent for the specific support each participant requires. We complete a thorough risk assessment before services begin and work closely with the participant's health professionals.
Where the participant's needs and plan require it, we provide 2:1 support with consistent, familiar pairs of workers. We also implement behaviour support plans developed by the participant's NDIS behaviour support practitioner.
What this support can include
- Complex bowel care
- Enteral (PEG) feeding and management
- Urinary catheter management
- Epilepsy and seizure management
- Complex swallowing and mealtime support
- Pressure care and specialised mobility support
- 2:1 support
- Implementation of positive behaviour support plans
We do not develop behaviour support plans. We implement plans written by the participant's NDIS behaviour support practitioner and report as required.
